| Erik was born 12/14/40, in Tucson, Arizona. He graduated from Stanford University in 1962 with an A.B. in political science, and went on to Georgetown Law School, Ll.B., 1965; and Harvard Law School, Ll.M., 1967. He clerked for the Chief Judge, United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, San Francisco, 1966-67. Erik practiced law in Arizona, 1967-1998, specializing in class-action litigation. Interests: athletics, peace activism, writing. Author of one self-published novel, Gaviota, and numerous essays and stories. Religion: "None, although Buddhism is attractive, except that I'm too attached to meditate with any effectiveness or diligence." Erik is not married, twice divorced. He is the father of a daughter and grandfather of a granddaughter, both wonderful ladies. |
